Michèle Taupin Biography.

Michèle Taupin was born in Paris, but she could have been born somewhere in ancient Greece, on the banks of the Nile or Florence… "An immense desire always pushed me to paint," she said. This insatiable need of colors and shapes materializes in the form of an outline quickly executed from themes of mythology and allegories. Each painting is a genuine creation where everything is composed – everything is orchestrated in a world of unity and harmony. The paintings of Michèle Taupin embody a desire for fullness. Their structure and geometry emphasize the beauty of curves to carve characters out of time. With sensitivity and determination, Michèle Taupin draws viewers into the mysteries of the eternal feminine and composes singing timeless and soothing women. Taupin has held exhibitions not only in France but in many countries. She also teaches the visual arts at Polytechnique.
